Web 2.0
This is the second theory that was followed by Web 1.0 which was how software and information was determined by the author of a website. The author controlled how the user interacted with the website. So authors put up material for the user. The Web 2.0 however is totally different in by which users determine what material they see and upload. This gets the user more in control with what he sees and does. Authors and merely platforms by which users interact with each other and their material. This is how such viral campaigns such as the promotion of the human centipede or Paranormal Activity. This was largely done through creating a rumor using the underground network of people using the internet to spread that the subject of these films were real. This was what generated so much traffic. The fact that the possibility of it was real. Not the solid fact that it was. Just the possibility.
We use Web 2.0 through creating a blanket all over the web. We have started with the Facebook page - http://www.facebook.com/fragilefocus
and at this moment have got a Google mail account, Withoutabox account, yahoo (to ask questions) a Youtube account and a Twitter account. Why these are important is because we want to generate as much interest as possible and we have found that all of these sites will provide enough interaction with the public to create a form of interest.

T-Shirts
We found a very simple, risk free way of an attempt to create some revenue and that is by selling T-shirts on this online shop called www.spreadshirt.co.uk/ we only get 10% of the commission, however this is only an experiment to see if they can sell. If they do then we will terminate the contract with the business and sell them independently. However this all rides on the fact of promoting our business. The benefit of having our own in come of course if that we can be more flexible with how we decide and come to conclusions regarding production and promoting our documentary for future film festivals. By getting more money we will be able to spend more on advertising and creating interest.
Business Cards
We decided to create our own business cards to help us become more professional and also when shooting our Photo Essays we could hand them out to anyone we wanted to who we were taking a photo of. This not only increases people's awareness of our production company but it also gives us a better image as a production company as well as a better developed understanding on how a professional production company works. After all professionalism can be key in this industry and getting known to be professional is a much sought after aspect to any business. The business cards I think is a tool, helping us achieve this objective.
Our prototypes that I designed..

We then thought that this first design was not nearly enough professional and so re-designed our logo for a more technical yet simple image, running with our name as well so that you can look at the logo and think fragile focus.
