In my attempt to create a soundtrack for our documentary I used the Reaper digital audio workstation. I used many vst instruments and a guitar to record a piece of music. Using an M-audio fast track sound board, I recorded the guitar through the guitar rig 5 pro software. The soundtrack I created is an acid jazz, downtempo tune with a lot of influences from bands such as Jamiroquai and Bjork.

 Cabbie - Trailer

      Cabbie is the title of our documentary and this is the trailer that I managed to create for promotion. It was edited using Adobe Premiere Pro Cs5.5 and the music was created with Pro Tools M-Powered DAW. The trailer contains a couple of shots taken in order to create the feeling of isolation in the car, which is a main theme in our documentary. The soundtrack that I used is a very abstract piece of music, containing punchy basslines and urban rithms. Somehow I was inspired by the rain, which is constantly present on every shot.
