Digital Raw Capture

The Raw Processing is a very interesting techinque in photography editing, not only because it gives you the freedom to change some aspects of the picture but because you can actually change everything from white balance, to colour grading. Shooting in Raw, allows me to go back in Photoshop and make corrections on almost every aspect. For example, as a photojournalist, you need to take photos really fast, to capture every bit of event, and that needs speed. If you're in a rush, most probably you'll miss the white balance or the exposure. Raw processing helps you in this situation, by providing exposure correction, colour correction and many other options.

Documentaries and the Digital Age

Nowadays, almost everything is digital, from simple things like a radio to factories and companies. Twenty years ago the movies were still edited using Moviolas and film rolls, but now, DSLR's and editing softwares are basically all you need to create a piece of art. The article discusses the impact of digital equipment and softwares on media. Also with the use of internet, people have access to all kinds of television shows or films, which are being processed digitally. Because of the Digital era, so many documentaries began to expand their modes and combine various styles. For example in editing, we can change the meaning of one shot, just by ading a piece of music and a video effect. That same effect can be used in news, to emphasize a certain aspect or issue. However the Internet allows people to have a more wider perspective of their interests, by providing the freedom to choose.
